The Internet's most respected symbol of success recently designated BenjiRabhan.com as an Official Honoree for the 17th Annual Webby Awards. Past winners of the Webby Award include an awesome group of industry leaders like Twitter, Google, eBay, Pinterest, Skype, Fab.com, Instagram, BBC News, CNN, The Guardian, The New York Times, Aol, Tumblr, Wikipedia, ESPN, Funny or Die, Comedy Central, PBS, The Huffington Post, the Sundance Channel, and The Onion.
I'm so appreciative of my amazing team. I want to give special thanks to our team member, Pat Johnson, the lead designer on the project. His awesome innovative design really helped us stand out above the rest. The rest of the ClickCore team was also instrumental in helping us attract the judges' attention.
ClickCore develops high-converting, ROI-focused websites. It's nice to get recognition for our design skills as well as our customers' ROI, which is at the core of our focus. This just proves that what we tell our clients is true: "You really can have a high-converting website that's also pretty and innovative."
Over 11,000 entries from all 50 U.S. states and over 60 countries submitted entries for these awards across a range of categories. The Official Honoree distinction is awarded to only the top 10% of the work entered. This site was honored in the Websites & Mobile category. It was judged based on content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity and overall experience.
The honorees were chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, a global organization whose newest members include Tumblr founder David Karp, Huffington Post Media Group President Arianna Huffington, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, musician David Bowie, Internet co-creator Vint Cerf, Virgin Group Chairman Richard Branson, and R/GA Chairman and CEO Bob Greenberg.
The 17th Annual Webby Awards will be held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on May 21, 2013.
